Technology valleys

Saint Petersburg is purposefully forming a network of technology valleys as a key element of the city's innovation ecosystem. These projects are being implemented in accordance with the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation and are intended to strengthen the scientific and technological potential of the region.
Two promising technology clusters are developing in parallel — in the north and south of Saint Petersburg, providing a powerful impetus for its technological development. The Northern Valley is forming around the Polytechnic University, while the Southern Valley unites several scientific and educational centers.
Technopolis "Polytechnic" is a key innovation complex in Saint Petersburg, established on the basis of Peter the Great Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University. It integrates scientific laboratories, production sites, and educational spaces focused on the development and commercialization of high-tech projects. The Technopolis provides residents with a full support cycle — from the opportunity to conduct scientific research to the implementation of ready-made solutions into the real sector of the economy.
