The Fund's objective is to ensure equal access for small and medium-sized enterprises to credit and other financial resources.
The Non-profit Organization "Small and Medium Business Credit Support Fund of Saint Petersburg" (hereinafter referred to as the Fund) was established by Decree of the Government of Saint Petersburg No. 1059 dated 28.08.2007 with the participation of the Committee for Economic Development, Industrial Policy, and Trade.
The Fund was established to develop the small business lending system in Saint Petersburg, as well as the system of guarantees and sureties for the obligations of small and medium-sized enterprises based on credit, loan, and leasing agreements.
The Fund's assets were formed through co-financing involving funds from the Saint Petersburg budget and the federal budget.
